Our first outback trip was a 700km drive from Perth to the most remote area i could find on google maps. We were 5 guys, Me, my cousin and our three friends also in Australia, Laust, Mathias and Asbjørn.
This means that huge amounts of beer and meat were basically the only things on the list together with the 2 other essentials, water and gas.

The Drive…
Finally on the road !

The roads started of pretty good… ahead is the Holden that Asbjørn and Mathias drove

But it didn’t take long before that changed. Driving in two 2 wheel drives (worst idea ever in Australia) we were pretty nervous for the rain, as you can see on the road beneath… rain would stop us in our tracks.. with little water and little food.. we were quite concerned… but i feel i can speak for the whole crew that lack of beer was most definitely the most alarming.

Some interesting road kill on the way… some truck driver must have been having a bad day taking out two Emus !!..

And yes. It was so fucking hot you cant imagine.. Look at these dying boys ..
The Camp
We set up camp in the middle of nowhere. Meaning we obviously found the right place. First things first we got the grill hot and filled the ice box up with beers.

As we see above.. Asbjørn is clearly enjoying the hot sun of Australia whilst waiting for the food..

Beautiful sunset over the Australian Tundra…
So what did we spend 3 days doing in the outback ?
Made hats out of dried up bushes to keep away the flies..
Being boys.. we obviously had to find the fastest way to cook bacon in the Outback
And Potato chips ..
Chicken Wings ofcourse..

And whilst we weren’t cooking, then monopoly and beers were top on the list…

As you can see above, Asbjørn has again been enjoying the “sun” to much again..
Journey Back
“Trying to take a selfie while driving home” with a sleeping cousin in the back.

Piss Break in the Bush

Old Iron mine we found on the way back with a beautiful view…
And a not so old grave right next to it..

Beautiful Salt Lakes…
Another little pitstop..
And finally a proper meal with the Outback crew..
